Shipping & Returns

1. Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns (for refund or exchange) within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following guidelines. To initiate a return, you must contact us to obtain a required Return Authorization Number (RAN).

Return Guidelines

  • Merchandise must be in brand new and unused condition and in its original packaging.

  • The customer is responsible for insured shipping costs back to our shop.

  • Returns sent Cash on Delivery (COD) will not be accepted.

  • Maclan Racing Shop reserves the right to charge a restocking fee on any merchandise returned for credit.

  • Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Refund Exclusions

  • The refund will not include any shipping charges paid by the customer; original freight charges will not be refunded.

  • Products containing fuel, lithium polymer batteries, or other hazardous materials cannot be returned.

  • If Maclan Racing Shop incurs additional shipping fees as a result of refused or returned shipments, we reserve the right to deduct those amounts from the final return credit.

2. Warranty Service and Terms

Express Warranty Duration & Specific Terms

All Maclan Racing core products sold by Maclan Racing Shop are covered by the original manufacturer's express warranty.

  • Standard Term (Motors & ESCs): Most core products carry a limited 30-Day Express Warranty covering manufacturing defects, effective from the original date of purchase.

  • Battery Warranty: Battery packs carry a limited 90-Day Express Warranty against manufacturing defects.

CRITICAL EXCLUSION: The battery warranty does NOT cover swollen or puffed battery packs, as this condition is typically caused by misuse, over-discharging, or excessive heat.

  • Exceptions: For specific products that offer a longer coverage period (e.g., M32t Pro/Pico ESC, V3/V3m Motor), the extended term will be explicitly noted on that product's individual page. The longer term supersedes this general 30-day period. Always refer to the specific product page warranty details.

Universal Exclusions

All warranties, regardless of duration, do NOT cover the following:

  • Normal Wear-and-Tear Parts: This includes, but is not limited to, motor rotors, bearings, fans, wires, and other consumable components. These parts are only covered if found to be defective upon opening the product packaging.

  • Accessories: Consumable accessories are generally excluded from express warranty coverage.

  • Damage from Misuse: Damage resulting from abuse, modification, improper installation, or any use outside of the product's intended specifications.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Free Shipping Offer

We offer free shipping on orders of $100 or more. This offer is applicable only to selected items and continental US customers. Maclan Racing Shop reserves the right to determine the free shipping method.

Delivery Times and Guarantee

Please be aware that delivery times are not guaranteed. The courier is responsible for providing and updating guaranteed services. Any guaranteed services are subject to the courier's policies and updates.

Address Verification

As required by PayPal/Credit Card Merchant regulations, we can only ship orders to PayPal/Credit Card Merchant verified addresses. Please ensure that your shipping address is verified by PayPal/Credit Card Merchant to avoid any issues with order fulfillment.

4. International Shipping & Restrictions

Customs Responsibilities

Please note the following shipping details:

  • Shipping charges cover transit to your country only. You are responsible for all customs, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees that may be charged upon importation.

  • Please acquaint yourself with your country's customs policies and regulations prior to placing an order.

  • We are unable to list any amount other than the actual amount paid by you on invoices or customs forms, after any applicable discounts have been applied. We kindly request that you refrain from asking us to list a lower amount or label your order as a 'gift' as it would be illegal for us to do so. (Note: Store credit is not considered a discount and is taxable.)

Shipping Restrictions

Please be aware of the following restrictions on the shipment of certain products:

  • Ground-Only Items

  • Li-Po Batteries

  • Hazardous Materials

  • ORM-D - Other Restricted Material

Ground Shipments: Ground shipments of lithium batteries must not be sent to any address in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or destinations on islands such as Avalon, CA. Due to the complexities of shipping batteries, we reserve the right to make adjustments to meet the latest shipping code for lithium batteries.
